Some great tutorials to learn how to install Wordpress and get started blogging:

Becomingablogger.com

These are videos that take it step by step, and anyone can follow them. A great resource, and it’s free!

How to sign up for Adsense:

It’s really quite simple, but it does take a few days to a week to get approved. If you don’t have a gmail account, you may be asked to open one. That doesn’t mean you have to use it, but you will use it to sign into your adsense account.

Step One:

Go to Google.com/Adsense

Sign up. (told you it was easy!)

Step Two:

Once you have been approved, Google will take you through the steps to set up the ads you want on your blog (or website) . You will be given html code to insert into your site.

That’s it! When people click on your ads, you make money.

Caution!

Never, never, click on your own ads, or someone else’s to drive up their adsense revenue. Google has some of the most advanced technology on the internet, and they WILL find you out. I know several people that this has happened to-some guilty, some NOT. Google works hard to protect the advertisers that pay your adsense check, and are ruthless in their judgement. Don’t abuse your privilege!
