About Us

We started homeschooling in 1989, and have graduated 3 children from our homeschool, with one to go. He has Down Syndrome and we look forward to homeschooling him for awhile!

As a family, we have had more home businesses than we could count . I come from a long line of entrepreneurs, so it’s in my blood. When we decided it was time to bring dad home 17 years ago, he started a home-remodeling business that supported us well within 3 months. We ran a bookstore for almost 7 years, and now that we have high-speed internet, we’re online!

Our children were always doing ‘fund-raising’ projects and had several mini-businesses. Teaching our children how to think “entrepreneurially” was just built into our homeschooling routine...and was a very important part of our homeschool and provided that extra money all homeschools need!

The homeschool mindset definitely lends itself to the independent thinking required of entrepreneurs, and I don’t know many that homeschool that couldn’t use some extra money for curriculum, field trips and projects!

Never in history has it been more important for youth to have the knowledge to start their own business. Since we have looked into just about every possible way to make money at home, we wanted to share it all with you!

Please let us know if there is any way we can help you!

The not-quite-end of the story of our homeschooled children is:

Our oldest daughter Rachael (30) is homeschooling 5 children and is married to a  man who helps his father run his own business ...

Our oldest son Nathanael (22) is gainfully employed helping another entrepreneur (also a homeschool dad) run his business, and eventually wants his own car dealership...AND is engaged  to...now married.. a young woman who wants to have her own photography studio someday...

Our second son Joshua is in college majoring in business...and has recently started an internet business...

And last, but certainly not least, our youngest son Benjamin is 15, has Down syndrome, and is our inspiration for helping EVERYONE learn to start their own business.

Almost daily Ben is ‘starting a new business’ and math took on new meaning to him when we told him you had to know math to handle money in your own business!
